EMRE OKTAYOĞLU

Born in 1983, Emre Oktayoğlu began his musical journey at the age of 8 with piano lessons. He won various awards for the music he composed for theater plays at Üsküdar Anatolian High School. Graduating from Bahçeşehir University, Department of European Union Relations, the artist took part in the albums of the Istanbul12 Orchestra as a lyricist, composer, and arranger.

Oktayoğlu, who has performed with the Istanbul State Symphony Orchestra and created symphonic arrangements, also composed music for documentary projects such as “İçimizden Biri”, “Takı” and “Göbeklitepe”. While continuing his work as a pianist, arranger, and soloist in Istanbul12, he continues to perform as a tenor in the Timefreeze project, which interprets Broadway musicals and film scores.

Also a music teacher, Emre Oktayoğlu released his first solo album “Yüzündeki Güneş” in 2020 and his single “Eşyalar” in 2022. The artist reunited with his listeners with his new single “Sevgiliydik” in June 2026.
